Jan Hepola has over 10 years experience in internet business including internet business consultant specializing in web design and development, online marketing, and project management; e-business curriculum development and training; group and meeting facilitation; business owner doing graphic design, web design and development, and marketing support; and in marketing and technical proposal coordination. She began her career as a Marketing and Proposal coordinator for BRW Inc and has been an Outreach Program Developer and Staff Coordinator for Mounds View Public Schools, Graphic and Web Designer as well as business consultant for Design Train Inc and a lead trainer for the E-Business Institute of Minnesota Technology, Inc. and is currently a Technology Specialist for Minnesota Technology, Inc.

Ms Hepola holds her Bachelor of Science in Human Relations from the University of Minnesota and has continued with graduate work in business and marketing. She holds certification as a Search Engine Optimization Professional. She has related training in internet and email marketing strategies, search engine optimization and marketing, web design and development, project management, training and presentation design and web usability standards and testing methods. She also is certified as a TWI-Job Relations Instructor by Central New York Technology Development Organization, Inc. (TDO). She is a member of the Minnesota Chapter of the Usability Professionals Association.
